Sales Career

The Company is seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals for a Sales Representative position in the market indicated. We are a traditional CPG sales company focused exclusively towards independent grocery retailers supplied by traditional wholesale suppliers. The typical sales territory consists of 80-120 retail grocery stores. Our manufacturer clients include established, Fortune 1000 consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers who seek to build their brands with these independent retailers.

Sales Representatives are independent contractors, responsible for selling an array of brands, new items, and promotions in their assigned territories and retail stores. The position requires candidates to sell manufacturer brands and promotions using the company's innovative web-based sales information system. Individuals set their own schedules, routes, and should anticipate working approximately 20-25 hours per week.

Sales Representatives will generate commissions from face-to-face retail calls to stores in assigned territories. This is a 100% commissioned salary position.

Requirements
We are seeking an individual who is looking for PERMANENT INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR WORK. This position DOES NOT LEAD TO FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT. Our preference is for an individual who has a history of sustained, successful Sales achievements, either full-time or part-time. An extensive history of retail sales experience calling on grocery stores is preferred. We are looking for a good communicator who enjoys the challenge of selling and problem solving. All applicants must have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and must provide proof of insurance.

Technical Skills
All candidates must be able to perform the following computer-related functions:

  • Possess basic experience and knowledge about how to use a desktop computer to enter orders and print order summaries;
  • Be familiar with how to navigate the Internet, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and other common PC-related functions;

Language Skills/Citizenship
Language Skills
All candidates should be fluent English speaking. For territories in predominantly ethnic areas, candidates must also be fluent in the language of that ethnicity.

Citizenship
All candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or temporary resident admitted under the legalization program of the 1986 Immigration Act. The Company does not offer practical training positions or sponsor foreign citizens to obtain work visas or permanent residence.

Compensation
Our sales representatives earn between $20,000 and $50,000 per year, depending on actual sales results of the individual. Good sales people routinely make on the upper end of the range

Merchandising

The Company is seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals for a Merchandising position in the market indicated. Our manufacturer clients include established, Fortune 1000 consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers.

Merchandisers are independent contractors, working part-time in traditional grocery stores building displays, collecting pricing information, implementing schematics, arranging products onto store shelves, cleaning shelves, etc.

Qualified candidates will have

  • Food or grocery merchandising experience with a consumer products company, third party sales agent or merchandising company;
  • High School Diploma;
  • Valid driver's license (in good standing) with no restrictions and
  • Excellent running vehicle
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • A functioning personal computer with Internet connection
  • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills

All candidates must be able to perform the following computer-related functions:

  • Possess basic experience and knowledge about how to use a desktop computer to enter routine information about hours worked and in-store conditions and duties performed;
  • Be familiar with how to navigate the Internet and use Adobe Acrobat Reader;

All candidates should be fluent English speaking. For territories in predominantly ethnic areas, candidates must also be fluent in the language of that ethnicity.
